Calls for projects


The Transversal Thematic Action for Synthetic Biology in Bordeaux (SB2) regularly launches calls for projects to stimulate and support collaborative research projects that fit at least one of its three scientific axes.

Call for projects 2017-2018

Deadline:  15/02/2017 at 6pm

Deadline extended to March 30 at 6pm

Scope

 

This call for projects supports emerging multidisciplinary projects in the following areas:

 

  • Genomes, and minimal cell organisms, genome engineering
  • Biodiversity and metabolic engineering
  • Biomimicry, orthogonal systems, bionanosciences for synthetic biology

Eligibility

  1. The project should be multidisciplinary and must belong to one of the three SB2 research programs
  2. The project must involve at least two teams of SB2 and preferably from two different departments
  3. The projects involving teams not belonging to the University of Bordeaux are eligible but those teams will not be funded (see the call text for more details)
  4. The project, in French or English, must be submitted in accordance with the format given in the call text

Scope

 

This call for projects supports emerging multidisciplinary projects in the following areas:

  • Biomimicry, orthogonal systems, bionanosciences for synthetic biology

  2. The project must involve at least two teams from different units and preferably from two different departments
  3. The project should be multidisciplinary and “emerging”
  4. The projects involving teams not belonging to the University of Bordeaux are eligible but those teams will not be funded
  5. The project, in French or English, must be submitted in accordance with the format given in the call text
